This is not my normal content, but I’ve maintained a healthy weight for over a year and have had requests about what snacks I like to eat. So in this article, I share 8 of my favorite protein snacks I love from Amazon.
I love food! And I am not an expert on diet and exercise. But I focus on healthy living like walking, jogging, and intuitive eating because it helps me feel my best and keep anxiety in check. I try to eat high protein as much as possible. I don’t enjoy snacks with artificial sugar taste or strange textures and I’ve found these to taste good and be filling! These are 8 of my go-to snacks I eat almost every day.
GOMACRO offers a wide range of flavor options. Their oatmeal bar is also really good and vegan (if you need a nut-free option). However, I prefer the mini bars because they are smaller and provide a solid 4g of protein on the go. I find that I can’t usually eat a large bar all at once.
Slightly embarrassed to say I was influenced to buy these by watching TikTok videos! But they taste just like a candy bar (with a soft marshmallow inside). It makes my sweet tooth very happy and has just 140 calories and 17g of protein. I’ve also purchased them at Costco in a multipack with a mix of the Brownie Batter and the Coconut flavor.
3. Orgain Organic Nutritional Vegan Protein Shakes
My son and I have been drinking these protein drinks for a few years. They also sell a milk-based option, but I have a lactose sensitivity and prefer the vegan. The vanilla is really good, and I like the chocolate flavor too. Best when cold! 1 drink has 16 grams of protein. If you want to try this drink in a smaller amount, they are also sold at Whole Foods.
4. Golden Island Korean BBQ Snack Bites
I am not a huge beef jerky fan, so I was surprised how much I like these! They are sweet and fun to eat. I take them to coffee shops when I need to work through lunch and want more than a bagel. And usually keep a bag in the car just in case I need a snack. You can also find these at Costco. 8 grams of protein and 100 calories.
5. KIND Breakfast Bars with Peanut Butter & Banana Dark Chocolate
These bars have the best soft texture and flavor and are gluten-free. I eat them almost every morning before breakfast! They have 8 grams of protein. If you want a nut-free alternative, they also make a dark chocolate breakfast bar.
If you haven’t tried turkey pepperoni it’s worth giving a try! I find it more similar in texture to traditional pepperoni than turkey bacon is to regular bacon. I love cooking it in the air fryer at 380 for 5 minutes. It makes the pepperoni crispy like a chip. 9 grams of protein per serving.
7. Jimmy Dean Delights Turkey Sausage Breakfast Bowl
I can’t get enough of these bowls. I eat them for breakfast but I’ve also been known to eat one for dinner. Something about it having potatoes makes me add ketchup. But it has a good mix of protein with egg whites and turkey sausage. 1 bowl has 19g of protein.
8. Reds Burrito with Turkey, Egg & Cheese
I typically buy these burritos in a pack of 4 at the grocery store. I try to eat some kind of eggs with breakfast so they are a go-to in the morning. But sometimes eaten as a snack, too. I think the flavor and texture is really good. They have 17g of protein per burrito.
