Healthy ham & cheese sliders with poppyseed topping

I grew up eating ham rolls with poppyseeds at my Grandma’s house on holidays. We typically ate it as a light dinner after having a big lunch. It’s filling and comforting, and would be great to take to a game day party as a snack. The flavors of this are surprisingly a little complex, with ground mustard and Worcestershire. I wanted to recreate the recipe I loved with the same flavors, just a bit lighter.

How did I lighten the recipe? I used Martin’s sweet potato rolls instead of King’s Hawaiian rolls. While they have the same amount of calories per serving, Martin’s is a larger roll (35g vs 28g) and has less fat and cholesterol.

I used a sliced black forest ham with less sugar, thin-sliced Swiss cheese for fewer calories, and used 3 tablespoons of butter in the topping mixture (the original recipe called for 8 tablespoons!).
